Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, implementation, and validation of ASIC device drivers and test cases in C/C++.
  • Develop and improve scalable, maintainable, reusable validation frameworks and infrastructure.
  • Define validation strategies, evaluate test coverage, and identify gaps, risks, and quality improvements.
  • Lead in-lab validation and proof-of-concept activities while debugging complex system behaviors.
  • Mentor engineers in validation principles, debugging methodologies, and coding practices.
  • Plan and coordinate validation workstreams against program milestones.
  • Partner with ASIC architects and design teams to define coverage plans and accelerate system debugging.
  • Drive automation, coverage modeling, and validation framework innovations.

Requirements

  • At least 6 years of development experience with C/C++ and Python focused on hardware validation and embedded software.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead technical initiatives in complex validation environments.
  • Experience with source code management, IDEs, and collaborative development workflows.
  • Deep understanding of hardware architecture, data paths, and IP interactions.
  • Hands-on experience with Unix/Linux systems, scripting, and laboratory environments.
  • Strong knowledge of validation principles and coverage strategies, including translating requirements into executable plans.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
  • Preferred experience includes post-silicon power validation, system-level validation, hardware emulators, network communications, protocol analyzers, oscilloscopes, or applying AI to validation efficiency.
