Base Salary
$250k - $270k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead or contribute to the design, development, optimization, and productionization of machine learning solutions.
- Drive initiatives from concept through final product delivery for complex marketing planning, analysis, and optimization problems.
- Implement probabilistic techniques, including bootstrapping, statistical tests, and machine learning models and regressions, in reusable statistical libraries.
- Build and maintain the machine learning systems powering Haus product lines, specifically cMMM.
- Design and implement AI agentic workflows for machine learning pipelines, including model validation.
- Review teammates’ code and designs and provide constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, science, and other cross-functional partners to deliver systems from ideation to production.
- Mentor ML engineers and raise the organization’s machine learning standards.
Requirements
- PhD or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- 10+ years of industry experience, ideally focused on building and operating production machine learning systems.
- Experience with exploratory data analysis, statistical modeling, hypothesis testing, and experimental design.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams including product, science, and product operations.
- Proficiency in one or more object-oriented programming languages such as Python, Go, Java, or C++.
- Preferred experience with modern deep learning architectures and probabilistic modeling.
- Preferred expertise in the design and architecture of machine learning systems and workflows.
- Preferred experience with optimization techniques including reinforcement learning, Bayesian methods, and multi-armed bandits.
- Experience with MLFlow is a bonus.
- Experience applying data science or machine learning approaches to marketing and growth is a bonus.
