Base Salary

Responsibilities

Design, build, and improve backend services and APIs for secure, reliable video playback.
Own projects involving content protection, streaming security, playback latency, content publishing, and availability testing.
Deliver projects from design through deployment while balancing speed, quality, and maintainability.
Collaborate with product, QA, and engineering teams to ship features and operational improvements.
Participate in on-call, incident response, debugging, and resolution of complex production issues.
Contribute to code reviews, design discussions, testing practices, technical documentation, and service improvements.
Identify technical risks and dependency gaps and drive them to resolution.

5+ years of professional software development experience building backend services in production environments.
Strong experience with backend programming languages such as TypeScript, Go, or similar.
Hands-on experience with AWS or GCP and distributed systems in production.
Understanding of video streaming fundamentals, APIs, backend service architecture, and large-scale playback delivery.
Experience with content protection, entitlement, secure content access, or related playback security systems.
Ability to independently own projects, make sound technical decisions, debug service issues, and improve systems through testing, observability, documentation, and maintainable design.
Clear communication, effective cross-functional collaboration, and proactive management of risks, trade-offs, and dependencies.
