Responsibilities
- Lead or contribute to end-to-end Manhattan TMS implementation cycles, including requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, and hypercare.
- Configure transportation planning and optimization, load consolidation and routing, carrier selection and contract management, execution and tendering, tracking, freight settlement, and audit modules.
- Perform fit-gap analysis, prepare functional design documents, and lead solution workshops.
- Support integrations between Manhattan TMS and SAP, Oracle, Manhattan WMS, ERP, WMS, OMS, carrier, and 3PL systems.
- Support data migration, interface validation, system testing, EDI/API collaboration, and troubleshooting.
- Engage business users, transportation planners, IT teams, and clients to define workflows and support UAT and go-live.
- Provide functional leadership, guide junior team members, conduct training, create SOPs, and support change management.
Requirements
- At least 7.5 years of experience is required.
- Five to fifteen years of total experience, including at least three years of hands-on Manhattan TMS implementation experience.
- Proficiency in Manhattan Transportation or Manhattan Active Transportation Management.
- Strong knowledge of transportation planning and execution, carrier contracts and rates, logistics network design, optimization, freight audit, billing, and settlement.
- Experience with functional configuration, troubleshooting, solutioning, system integration, and API development.
- Experience working across onshore/offshore delivery models and managing multiple stakeholders.
- Strong analytical, documentation, communication, and software development lifecycle knowledge.
- Experience with modern programming languages and frameworks.
- Fifteen years of full-time education is required.
- Blue Yonder Transportation Management, Oracle Transportation Management, SAP TM, SQL, data analysis, and logistics, retail, CPG, 3PL, or manufacturing experience are preferred.
