Base Salary
$146k - $185k/yr
Responsibilities
- Write well-crafted, well-tested, readable, maintainable code.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and distribute knowledge.
- Participate in on-call rotation to identify, triage, debug, and resolve issues.
- Explain trade-offs made in technical decisions.
- Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and data scientists to build complex features.
- Analyze internal systems for improvement and automation.
- Share knowledge through tech talks and promote engineering best practices.
- Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers.
- Help establish the technical roadmap and architecture.
Requirements
- BS/MS in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of software engineering industry experience.
- Solid knowledge of distributed systems and databases (relational and NoSQL).
- Experience designing and running fault-tolerant, highly available distributed systems.
- Experience with public cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Experience with Kubernetes and container technologies (e.g., Docker).
- Ability to work in a collaborative, low-ego team environment.
