Base Salary
$140k - $180k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain cloud and on-premises infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code.
- Update, deploy, and scale mission-critical services.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to create highly available, deployable, and reliable products.
- Reduce operational toil through automation, tooling, and self-service platforms.
- Partner with technical teams to design controls, uphold security standards, and mitigate vulnerabilities.
- Lead reliability, security, and resiliency initiatives that influence platform strategy and engineering practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a STEM discipline, or 5+ years of professional experience in Software Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, or DevOps.
- Deep experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- At least 3 years of Infrastructure-as-Code deployment experience.
- Production experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration.
- Solid understanding of networking and Linux internals.
- Experience with application deployment workflows, high-availability infrastructure, or high-volume manufacturing, aerospace, or adjacent environments is preferred.
- Experience with Terraform, Ansible, or other Infrastructure-as-Code tools and ownership of the full infrastructure deployment lifecycle is preferred.
- Experience with mission-critical and sensitive systems is preferred.
- Strong programming skills in at least one language, such as Go or Python, are preferred.
- Track record of driving technical strategy and influencing across teams is preferred.
- Applicants must be U.S. persons or otherwise eligible for a federally issued export control license.
