Base Salary
$154k - $239k/yr
Responsibilities
- Qualify and scope strategic prototyping use cases with engagement managers, solutions architects, customers, and partners.
- Architect, design, develop, and build working prototypes with customers.
- Extract reusable best practices, reference architectures, and patterns from engagements for the worldwide AWS community.
- Share customer insights and lessons learned with AWS service teams to improve AWS services.
- Develop and deliver technical demonstrations and presentations to business, technical, and executive audiences.
- Travel approximately 25%.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 6+ years of experience in design, implementation, or consulting for applications and infrastructure.
- 6+ years of experience in technology domains such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, or data and analytics.
- Experience architecting or operating solutions on a cloud service provider such as AWS, Azure, GCP, or OCI.
- Experience presenting and speaking with executives, IT, management, and developers.
- Preferred experience presenting to technical and non-technical executives; writing technical articles; speaking at technology conferences; contributing to open source; building prototypes, proofs of concept, or minimum viable products under tight timelines; and hands-on depth in AI and machine learning, data, IoT and edge, or robotics.
- Ability to learn new services and tools quickly and willingness to travel approximately 25%.
