Responsibilities
- Define technical sales strategies with the sales team for prospects.
- Prepare and deliver solution presentations to stakeholders at all organizational levels.
- Lead discovery workshops to identify customer requirements and business challenges.
- Develop solution blueprints, design architectures, and communicate how solutions address technical and business needs.
- Lead architecture discussions covering performance, scaling, API management best practices, security, and topology.
- Build and deliver solution demonstrations.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute proof-of-concepts.
- Develop proof-of-concept plans around agreed use cases.
- Support technical and product consulting content for RFP responses.
- Deliver technical presentations at trade shows and conferences and support technical content for marketing campaigns and events.
- Assist with solution implementation alongside internal teams, partners, and customer technical resources.
Requirements
- Tertiary qualification in Technology, Computer Science, or a similar discipline.
- Experience in technology-related roles, ideally with a software or solutions vendor.
- Broad knowledge across IT domains, including integration, cloud, UX, and business processes.
- Experience designing and deploying API management solutions using platforms such as Axway, Apigee, Mulesoft, WSO2, Kong, Boomi, Layer 7, IBM DataPower, and API Connect.
- Familiarity with DevOps integration and processes for digital business.
- Understanding of AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.
- Understanding of hybrid integration platforms and cloud and hybrid-deployed architectural principles, including SaaS, PaaS, multitenancy, security, and elastic scaling.
- Experience with cloud and on-premises infrastructure, Kubernetes containerization, security, scaling, monitoring, alerts, messaging patterns, integration patterns, and microservices.
- Experience with EAI, ESB, and SOA architectures.
- Professional English and Cantonese; Mandarin proficiency is preferred and also listed as a qualification.
- Cloud architect-level certification such as AWS, Azure, GCP, or equivalent is a plus.
- Experience with agile project management and development methodologies.
- Experience with DevOps tools such as Docker, Jenkins, Maven, GitHub, Chef, and Puppet.
- Ability to work in matrixed and multicultural teams and communicate effectively with different audiences.
