Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable and resilient platform services, APIs, and data pipelines.
- Own architecture for complex cross-cutting systems and define interfaces and contracts used by other teams.
- Provide technical oversight and lead design for complex projects spanning multiple teams.
- Review requirements, identify gaps and limitations, propose simplifications, and communicate solutions across functions.
- Mentor and coach engineers while promoting security, operational excellence, and cloud-native development practices.
- Drive quality, observability, performance, and platform-wide technical initiatives aligned with business goals.
- Resolve ambiguity and ensure work is properly defined, scoped, and sequenced.
- Lead the server-side discovery, assessment, and remediation lifecycle for non-human identities across cloud and on-premise environments.
Requirements
- Expertise architecting and developing microservices and cloud-native solutions.
- Strong programming skills in C#, Go, TypeScript, Java, or other modern languages, with deep experience in API design and microservices architecture.
- Hands-on experience with Claude Code or comparable agentic AI coding tools.
- Experience designing systems, interfaces, and contracts consumed by multiple teams or products.
- Strong hands-on AWS expertise, including production application design, hosting, operations, compute, networking, IAM, managed data stores, scaling, reliability, and cost trade-offs.
- Understanding of CI/CD strategies and hands-on infrastructure-as-code experience with tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Familiarity with data modeling, exploration, and visualization at scale.
- Proven track record leading cross-team technical initiatives and navigating ambiguity while driving technical direction.
- Familiarity with modern observability and test strategies in cloud environments.
- Full-stack familiarity with a modern JavaScript framework such as Angular or React with TypeScript is a plus.
- Domain experience in identity security, including IAM, NHI/Secrets, AWS IAM, Microsoft Entra ID, and OAuth/OIDC, is preferred.
- Experience with graph databases, graph data modeling, analytics at scale, and multi-tenant shared services is preferred.
