Responsibilities
- Understand client requirements and translate them into feasible software designs.
- Develop, modify, debug, and maintain software modules and applications.
- Create and execute test cases, scenarios, and usage cases to validate software and ensure quality.
- Automate software validation processes and investigate system issues through root cause analysis.
- Improve system performance, availability, interfaces, and operational feasibility.
- Prepare code, documentation, flowcharts, diagrams, reports, and project status updates according to defined standards.
- Coordinate daily with project teams, functional teams, systems analysts, engineering staff, project managers, and clients.
- Capture client requirements and clarifications, obtain feedback, troubleshoot queries, and support smooth, on-time delivery.
- Report quality risks, serviceability concerns, customer issues, and project progress to relevant stakeholders.
- Participate in continuing education, training, and certifications to remain current with programming practices.
Requirements
- Software development experience or knowledge sufficient to design, code, test, troubleshoot, and maintain software programs.
- Ability to analyze requirements, systems flow, data usage, work processes, and software problems.
- Ability to develop test cases and automate software validation processes.
- Ability to document technical solutions and prepare accurate project, quality, and status reports.
- Ability to collaborate with clients, project managers, functional teams, systems analysts, and engineering staff.
- Customer-focused communication skills, including professional email, voice-call, and fault-report interactions.
- Willingness to learn new programming languages, current best practices, and relevant technical skills through training and certifications.
