Responsibilities
- Build agents, tools, skills, prompts, planners, memory systems, and evaluation loops.
- Develop RAG services covering ingestion, chunking, embeddings, indexing, vector database integration, observability, and guardrails.
- Integrate enterprise APIs, event streams, and data sources with robust error handling, retries, and fallbacks.
- Write clean, testable software and implement unit tests, integration tests, offline and online evaluations, and red-team scenarios.
- Implement content and action safety boundaries and develop scalable production systems from rapid prototypes.
- Prototype quickly, demonstrate progress, communicate trade-offs, and work with stakeholders to deliver practical AI solutions.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in Java full stack development.
- At least 15 years of full-time education.
- Strong computer science and software engineering fundamentals.
- Hands-on experience with LLMs, RAG, vector databases, and AI APIs.
- Proven ability to build end-to-end applications and integrate AI into existing systems.
- A visible portfolio of AI projects demonstrating experimentation and rapid learning.
- Proficiency in at least two of Python, TypeScript/Node.js, and Java.
- Ability to translate business problems into practical AI solutions and communicate clearly.
- Preferred technologies include C#/.NET, Go, Rust, SQL, Bash, LangChain, LlamaIndex, Semantic Kernel, vector databases, testing frameworks, containers, serverless technologies, and cloud SDKs.
