Base Salary
$164k - $215k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead development and implementation of an AI security framework covering secure model adoption, training data pipelines, RAG architectures, and fine-tuning environments.
- Design and operationalize automated guardrails and contextual access controls to address prompt injection, model poisoning, data exfiltration, insecure output handling, and least-privilege enforcement across LLMs and agentic workflows.
- Lead AI red-teaming and threat-modeling initiatives using MITRE ATLAS and the OWASP Top 10 for LLMs.
- Develop metrics and reporting frameworks for AI security initiatives, policy adoption, compliance, and executive accountability.
- Partner with application and data engineering teams to establish secure-by-default AI blueprints and promote responsible AI use.
- Communicate AI risk requirements and architectural implications to technical and non-technical stakeholders, including legal and compliance teams.
- Commit, review, and manage code across multiple enterprise repositories.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of relevant experience in technical security engineering, application security, cloud security infrastructure, or software engineering focused on data security or AI frameworks.
- Experience evaluating LLM security postures, implementing alignment guardrails, or managing cloud security infrastructure such as AWS or GCP IAM boundaries is preferred.
- Experience with frontier AI technologies such as Claude Code or Codex is preferred.
- Experience communicating technical AI risk and architecture requirements to business, legal, and compliance stakeholders is preferred.
- Familiarity with health insurance data regulations such as HIPAA and their relationship to automated data use and generative model architectures is preferred.
- A bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline such as Computer Science, Data Science, Cybersecurity, or an equivalent technical field is preferred.
