Base Salary
$120k - $261k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and build detection pipelines across identity, endpoint, data, and application signals.
- Develop correlation engines, detection logic, and workflows for validation, prioritization, remediation, and incident response.
- Architect scalable security platforms, services, distributed systems, and high-volume telemetry pipelines.
- Build vulnerability discovery, risk prioritization, and remediation-closure systems across cloud, identity, and application environments.
- Implement security controls and mitigation mechanisms for prompt injection, data leakage, model abuse, adversarial inputs, LLM systems, RAG pipelines, and agentic workflows.
- Develop telemetry, analytics, and observability systems to measure detection effectiveness, false positives, response outcomes, security posture, and system performance.
- Lead complex security-system design and delivery from concept through production, establish engineering best practices, and mentor engineers.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Product, Data Science, and Security teams on enterprise AI security readiness and onboarding standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and 6+ years of experience in security engineering, software engineering, or distributed systems.
- Strong experience building production-grade security detections, pipelines, or platforms.
- Deep knowledge of identity, cloud security, endpoint security, or data protection.
- Strong programming skills in Python, C#, or Java.
- Experience building and operating distributed systems and large-scale data pipelines.
- Preferred: 8+ years of experience in security engineering and large-scale system design.
- Preferred: experience with detection engineering, threat modeling, and incident response systems.
- Preferred: familiarity with AI/ML systems and the security implications of LLMs, RAG, and agentic workflows.
- Preferred: expertise with cloud security platforms, especially Azure, and enterprise-scale environments.
- Preferred: experience with security telemetry platforms, SIEM systems, or data lakes.
- Preferred: ability to operate in ambiguous cross-organizational environments and communicate complex technical concepts to technical and executive stakeholders.
