Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Own the AgentExchange data architecture, canonical data model, telemetry taxonomy, destination consolidation, and 18-month platform roadmap.
- Design streaming and batch ingestion, schema governance, data contracts, and pipeline reliability SLOs.
- Build self-service partner and marketplace analytics using Data 360 and Tableau Next.
- Lead feature store, model training and serving, evaluation, monitoring, and predictive models such as lead scoring, attrition, and GMV forecasting.
- Architect MCP-based agent data access, RAG, embeddings, vector-store strategy, and evaluation harnesses for LLM-driven insights.
- Set standards for PII handling, tenant isolation, fine-grained access, privacy, audit, and safe LLM or agent access.
- Represent the data platform in cross-organizational architecture reviews and align Platform Services, Search & Personalization, and Partner Experience teams.
- Lead pipeline migrations without disrupting production analytics and mentor the Data Engineering & Analytics organization.
Requirements
- 12+ years of software or data engineering experience, including multi-year ownership of an enterprise-scale data or ML platform.
- Deep architecture experience in at least three areas including lakehouse or warehouse design, streaming and batch pipelines, dimensional and event modeling, feature stores, and model serving.
- Experience with cloud-native data infrastructure such as Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, or Databricks on AWS-based platforms.
- Production experience with LLM systems, including RAG, embeddings and vector stores, prompt and context engineering, evaluation, cost and latency tuning, and safety controls.
- Working knowledge of MCP or equivalent agent and tool protocols, with a strong approach to exposing data safely to agents.
- Experience with data security and governance, including PII classification, tenant isolation, fine-grained access, GDPR, CCPA, lineage, audit, and LLM access risks.
- Track record representing a technical domain in cross-organizational architecture forums and influencing teams without direct management authority.
- Strong executive communication skills and ability to explain architecture trade-offs to technical and product stakeholders.
- Related technical degree required.
- Preferred experience includes Salesforce Data 360, Tableau Next, Slack, MuleSoft data integration, marketplace or e-commerce data, large-scale migrations, privacy-preserving ML, agent evaluation frameworks, LLM observability, and Salesforce Platform features.
