Base Salary
$101k - $167k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement C++ algorithms and solvers for transportation routing problems.
- Optimize C++ code to reduce memory consumption and improve performance and scalability.
- Analyze algorithmic computational complexity and work with product engineers to diagnose software failures.
- Fix bugs in the existing C++ codebase.
- Write technical specifications and design documents and participate throughout the software development life cycle.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience designing and implementing transportation network graph algorithms.
- Experience with C++11 and modern C++ style and idioms.
- Experience designing, analyzing, and implementing graph algorithms, plus familiarity with basic data structures.
- Ability to clearly describe and analyze problems and articulate solutions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong time-management, prioritization, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
- Master’s degree or Ph.D. in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- Preferred: experience with code profiling and performance optimization and knowledge of GIS, logistics, and transportation networks.
