Base Salary
$101k - $167k/yr
Responsibilities
- Transform advanced research and concepts into high-performance, scalable raster analysis tools across multiple GIS domains.
- Partner with engineers to conceptualize, design, and deliver innovative GIS solutions.
- Architect and implement robust software components using design principles and best practices.
- Identify, analyze, and resolve software defects and performance bottlenecks through automated testing and optimization.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of demonstrated C++ software development experience.
- Strong understanding of algorithms, data structures, and design patterns.
- Strong problem-solving, design, development, and debugging skills.
- Familiarity with distributed systems, parallel processing, and GPU-accelerated computing.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related STEM field.
- Preferred: experience with C# and WPF application development.
- Preferred: experience with GIS, raster analysis, spatial analysis, and scientific computing.
- Preferred: master’s degree or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related STEM field.
