Base Salary
$180k - $250k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build APIs, backend services, and document-processing workflows for research, drafting, review, and completed work.
- Deliver product features from technical design through release and iteration.
- Integrate AI capabilities into production workflows with emphasis on quality, speed, and reliability.
- Improve interfaces for complex document tasks and collaborate across the stack.
- Translate user needs into engineering plans and communicate technical tradeoffs.
- Improve performance, investigate production issues, and strengthen testing, monitoring, and code quality.
Requirements
- Three to ten years of relevant experience shipping and maintaining production web applications or services.
- Strong programming skills in a modern language such as Python or TypeScript and sound software design fundamentals.
- Experience building APIs, backend services, document-processing workflows, and production AI or LLM integrations.
- Experience with databases, cloud infrastructure, or distributed backend systems.
- Practical testing, debugging, and code review skills.
- Frontend development experience or experience with products involving complex data and security needs is valuable.
- Clear written communication, ownership, and interest in legal technology and legal professionals’ workflows.
Benefits
- Annual base salary of $180,000 to $250,000 USD, depending on skills, experience, and role scope.
