Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced AI, deep learning, and large language model solutions.
- Build scalable, production-ready AI software using Python and .NET/C#.
- Deploy and operate cloud-based AI solutions using Microsoft Azure AI services, Azure ML, Cognitive Services, and AKS.
- Lead technical strategy, architecture decisions, and engineering modernization initiatives.
- Lead and mentor engineering teams while collaborating with product and data science teams.
- Apply MLOps practices, including model training pipelines, monitoring, and versioning.
- Improve software development and operations through AI-native practices, automation, and engineering toolchains.
- Maintain software quality and compliance and deliver solutions in ambiguous, fast-paced environments.
Requirements
- At least 7.5 years of experience with Python; the detailed role qualifications request 10+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- At least 5 years of focused AI/ML development experience.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, with 15 years of full-time education required.
- Strong experience with LLMs such as GPT and BERT and deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow and PyTorch.
- Proficiency in Python and .NET/C# for scalable AI development.
- Hands-on experience with Azure ML, Cognitive Services, and AKS.
- Experience with cloud-native architectures, microservices, container orchestration, distributed systems, and data engineering concepts.
- Experience with NLP libraries including Hugging Face Transformers and spaCy.
- Familiarity with MLOps practices and tooling, including model training pipelines, monitoring, and versioning.
- Proven experience leading engineering teams and making architecture decisions.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps automation, cloud, or AI modernization initiatives.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and delivery skills; AI-related open-source contributions or publications are valued.
- PhD or an advanced research background in AI/ML or a related field is preferred.
