Responsibilities

  • Architect, build, and scale enterprise AI systems, including RAG architectures, autonomous agents, model integrations, APIs, data pipelines, and microservices.
  • Lead AI model adaptation, customization, evaluation, and integration for legal, tax, fraud, compliance, and other specialized domains.
  • Define technical standards, architecture practices, roadmaps, and governance frameworks for AI systems and model lifecycles.
  • Lead MLOps and LLMOps design and implementation initiatives.
  • Oversee proof-of-concept projects, technical feasibility assessments, and strategic adoption of emerging AI techniques.
  • Design testing frameworks, monitoring systems, and observability solutions for AI model performance.
  • Drive compliance with ethical AI principles, security standards, regulatory requirements, and model risk controls.
  • Optimize AI systems for latency, resource usage, cost efficiency, scalability, and user experience.
  • Mentor senior and junior software engineers and influence senior stakeholders, product strategy, and executive technical discussions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent experience; a master's degree is preferred.
  • 8+ years of software engineering experience, including at least 4 years in senior or lead AI/ML-focused roles.
  • Expert-level Python proficiency and extensive experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow, and JAX.
  • Deep understanding of machine learning principles, evaluation methodologies, and distributed system design.
  • Proven experience with MLOps, LLMOps, and the full lifecycle of enterprise AI applications.
  • Experience integrating AI models into large-scale production systems using APIs, data pipelines, and cloud-native architectures.
  • Advanced experience with AWS, Azure, GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
  • Experience leading teams that build AI-driven systems, agent-based architectures, or enterprise integrations with AI APIs such as OpenAI and Anthropic.
  • Knowledge of vector databases, embeddings, semantic search, and information retrieval systems.
  • Experience with AI governance, model risk management, regulatory compliance, enterprise AI launches, and scaling AI systems.
  • Strong technical leadership, strategic thinking, problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Domain expertise in legal, tax, accounting, or other regulated industries is valued; publications, patents, or speaking experience in AI/ML are also valued.
