Responsibilities
- Lead development and technical strategy for enterprise-scale AI-powered systems.
- Design RAG architectures, autonomous agents, multi-component pipelines, and scalable AI integrations.
- Adapt and customize AI models for legal, tax, fraud, compliance, and other specialized domains.
- Define technical standards, architecture decisions, roadmaps, and best practices for AI systems.
- Lead proof-of-concept projects, feasibility assessments, and strategic adoption of emerging AI techniques.
- Drive MLOps and LLMOps design and implementation across the organization.
- Establish testing frameworks, monitoring, observability, governance, and AI model lifecycle practices.
- Optimize AI systems for latency, resource usage, cost efficiency, and user experience.
- Mentor software engineers and lead technical discussions with senior stakeholders and executives.
- Partner with research, engineering, design, and product teams to deliver AI-driven applications.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent experience; a master's degree is preferred.
- At least 8 years of software engineering experience, including at least 4 years in senior or lead AI/ML roles.
- Expert proficiency in Python and extensive experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow, and JAX.
- Strong knowledge of machine learning principles, evaluation methodologies, distributed systems, MLOps, and LLMOps.
- Experience integrating AI models into large-scale production systems using APIs, data pipelines, and cloud-native architectures.
- Advanced experience with AWS, Azure, GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
- Experience leading teams and technical initiatives involving AI-driven systems, agent architectures, or enterprise AI API integrations.
- Knowledge of vector databases, embeddings, semantic search, and information retrieval systems.
- Experience with AI governance, model risk management, regulatory compliance, and scaling AI products for enterprise customers.
- Strong strategic thinking, communication, presentation, stakeholder influence, and problem-solving skills.
- Domain expertise in legal, tax, accounting, regulated industries, or related fields is preferred.
- Publications, patents, speaking experience, or a portfolio of innovative LLM-based solutions are preferred.
