Responsibilities
- Drive end-to-end architecture decisions for new features and services.
- Design and develop high-performance, scalable services using a cloud-first approach.
- Build and ship multi-service features across frontend, backend, databases, AI systems, and deployment infrastructure.
- Develop React/TypeScript interfaces with real-time streaming, document viewers, code editors, and interactive visualizations.
- Build backend services and APIs using Python/FastAPI, Node.js, Java, or comparable technologies, with asynchronous and event-driven patterns.
- Develop LLM agent orchestration, MCP integrations, document intelligence, knowledge graphs, semantic search, and data pipelines.
- Implement scalable, reliable, secure, private, and operable platform infrastructure with monitoring, alerting, and observability.
- Mentor engineers, improve team velocity, lead technical planning, and shape an AI-native development culture.
- Use AI-assisted development tools, prompt engineering, code generation, and iterative refinement in daily development.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on full-stack experience with React and TypeScript plus backend development in Python/FastAPI, Node.js, Java, Golang, or C++.
- Demonstrated ability to build applications using LLM APIs such as Claude and GPT and familiarity with agent frameworks such as LangChain and LlamaIndex.
- Experience owning delivery from idea and prototype through production across user interfaces, APIs, databases, and deployment.
- Understanding of cloud-native architectures, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, Azure, or GCP, and infrastructure as code with Terraform or Ansible.
- Experience with asynchronous patterns, task queues, message brokers, and event-driven architectures.
- Solid SQL and PostgreSQL skills, ORM experience with SQLAlchemy or SQLModel, and exposure to vector or graph databases.
- Experience with Git workflows, CI/CD, automated testing, code reviews, observability, security, and privacy practices.
- Active use of AI-assisted coding tools such as Cursor, Copilot, and Claude Code.
- Typically 5–8+ years of software development experience, including at least two years in a senior or lead engineering role.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, with equivalent experience also considered.
