Responsibilities
- Integrate platform engineering, data engineering, analytics, modeling and simulation, and supply chain subject matter expertise.
- Translate mission, business, and user needs into product requirements, backlog priorities, and delivery plans.
- Design, develop, test, and maintain full-stack web applications.
- Architect, develop, test, and maintain supply chain models for inventory management, supplier risk, network optimization, and logistics modeling.
- Lead mid-level and junior developers and subject matter experts in addressing project requirements.
- Coordinate with government, industry, and internal stakeholders to gather information, validate findings, and support recommended courses of action.
- Help mature enterprise data integration, application development, user experience, modeling and simulation, and decision-support capabilities.
- Present findings clearly to senior DoD leaders and stakeholders.
Requirements
- Master's degree in a technical field such as mathematics, physics, operations research, engineering, data analytics, or another relevant technical domain.
- At least 7 years of experience in supply chain, operations research, inventory management, industrial base analysis, technology assessments, logistics, acquisition support, intelligence analysis, or a related field.
- At least 10 years of experience using Python, SQL, and Tableau for data exploration and analysis.
- Experience with cloud computing services such as AWS and Azure.
- Experience leading small to medium-sized technical teams delivering analytical products and analyses.
- Strong quantitative, analytical, research, synthesis, and communication skills.
- Active Secret Clearance.
- Availability for occasional travel of approximately 5%.
- Preferred: PhD in a relevant technical field.
- Preferred: Experience developing in C++.
- Preferred: Experience with Cameo and Ansys systems engineering tools.
- Preferred: Frontend application development using D3.js, Angular, React, and JavaScript.
- Preferred: Modeling and simulation experience, including what-if scenarios and courses of action based on simulation output.
- Preferred: Predictive maintenance experience for DoD clients.
- Preferred: Active Top Secret Clearance.
