Responsibilities
- Plan and execute system-level verification and validation for i3070 software and hardware releases.
- Develop test strategies, plans, cases, and reports based on product requirements, design changes, and customer use cases.
- Set up, configure, operate, and troubleshoot i3070 systems, test fixtures, instruments, controllers, and associated software.
- Perform functional, integration, regression, performance, reliability, installation, upgrade, and compatibility testing.
- Reproduce, isolate, document, and track defects; collaborate with development teams to verify fixes and assess release risk.
- Build and maintain automated tests, reusable test utilities, and test environments.
- Analyze test results and system logs, communicate quality status and technical risks, and support release decisions.
- Improve test processes, lab practices, documentation, and team knowledge.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Relevant experience in system-level testing of complex products integrating software, firmware, electronics, instruments, and computer-controlled hardware.
- Strong understanding of software quality assurance, test design, defect management, and regression testing.
- Hands-on troubleshooting skills, including interpreting logs, isolating software-versus-hardware issues, and using electronic test and measurement equipment.
- Experience with test automation or scripting, such as Python or an equivalent language.
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and communicate technical findings clearly.
- Knowledge of electronics manufacturing test or printed circuit board assembly testing is advantageous.
- Experience using or supporting in-circuit testers, particularly Keysight i3070 systems, is highly desirable.
- Experience with Agile development environments and test or defect management tools is beneficial.
