Responsibilities
- Build and maintain full-stack BlueCortex features using React, Node.js/TypeScript, and Python where appropriate.
- Deliver well-scoped roadmap features, including the new Projects capability, as tested and maintainable production software.
- Build external client-facing applications and tools for life sciences clients in partnership with consulting teams.
- Use AI coding agents such as Claude Code while reviewing and owning the correctness, security, and quality of generated code.
- Integrate BlueCortex with Microsoft 365, Azure services, relational and vector databases, and LLM APIs.
- Participate in code reviews, design discussions, documentation, and continuous improvement across a distributed engineering team.
- Apply data-handling and access practices to protect sensitive life sciences and client information.
Requirements
- Typically 3–6 years of professional full-stack engineering experience.
- Strong JavaScript or TypeScript skills with React and Node.js, plus comfort working across the stack.
- Python, REST APIs, relational databases, NoSQL, and cloud fundamentals are required or valuable as specified in the posting.
- Genuine enthusiasm for AI-assisted and agentic development and a desire to become highly effective at working with LLMs.
- Excellent written communication and the self-direction needed for distributed teamwork.
- Based in Mumbai, able to work hybrid, maintain meaningful daily overlap with US hours, and have the right to work in India.
- Hands-on experience with LLM-powered features such as RAG, agents, or model APIs is strongly preferred.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Graph, globally distributed engineering teams, testing frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, or observability tooling is preferred or nice to have.
- Exposure to life sciences, pharma, or other regulated industries is a plus.
