Base Salary
$157k - $215k/yr
Responsibilities
- Designs, develops, troubleshoots, and delivers secure, high-quality production software solutions.
- Reviews and debugs code written by other engineers and promotes secure coding, peer review, and automated testing standards.
- Leads team adoption and safe validation of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering and automation tools.
- Identifies and automates recurring remediation opportunities to improve application and system stability.
- Evaluates vendor, startup, and internal architectural designs for technical fit and applicability within existing systems and information architecture.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
- Hands-on experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
- Advanced experience with Java, Spring Boot, and Kafka.
- Experience leading AI-assisted software development practices and validating AI outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
- Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, secure input and output handling, resiliency, and security expectations.
- Proficiency across the Software Development Life Cycle and advanced understanding of application resiliency and security.
- In-depth knowledge of the financial services industry and its IT systems.
- Practical cloud-native experience.
