Base Salary
$168k - $227k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop a unified customer personalization service supporting Amazon’s diverse businesses and offerings.
- Use generative AI, LLMs, and machine learning to uncover insights from customer interactions.
- Build real-time personalized experiences that adapt to customer preferences and behaviors.
- Lead the design and architecture of reliable, scalable new and existing systems.
- Mentor engineers and lead technical initiatives or engineering teams.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 5 years of programming experience with one or more software programming languages.
- At least 5 years of experience leading the design or architecture of new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or engineering-team leader.
- Preferred: at least 5 years of full software development lifecycle experience.
- Preferred: bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
