Responsibilities
- Set the technical direction, roadmap, and strategy for Identity Services platform products and services.
- Mentor and coach engineers while remaining hands-on in the codebase.
- Champion engineering principles, design patterns, delivery quality, and operational readiness.
- Design, build, and improve secure, repeatable CI/CD pipelines and automation tooling.
- Build platform services and support tools and lead transitions to target architectures.
- Apply AI tooling across coding, testing, and support and help engineers adopt it effectively.
- Identify emerging technologies, promote knowledge sharing and documentation, and improve reusability.
- Integrate risk management and secure engineering principles into technical decisions.
Requirements
- Deep hands-on experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and automation tooling, including GitHub and GitHub Actions.
- Full-lifecycle platform engineering experience covering design, build, and run, with strong testing and operational-readiness knowledge.
- Strong scripting or development experience with PowerShell, .NET, Bash, or Python.
- Working knowledge of identity services including Active Directory and Microsoft Entra.
- Experience with infrastructure as code using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
- Experience with AWS services, Docker, Kubernetes, and observability tooling such as Grafana and Prometheus.
- Ability to influence technical direction, mentor engineers, collaborate across teams and geographies, and manage complex production challenges.
- Ability to apply secure engineering, risk management, and responsible AI-tooling practices.
