Responsibilities
- Build and ship full-stack features from Next.js interfaces through FastAPI microservices and Cloud Spanner or BigQuery data stores.
- Develop and maintain TypeScript, React, and Next.js frontend applications using the App Router, server and client components, and the BFF pattern.
- Develop and operate Python and FastAPI microservices with Pydantic, SQLAlchemy, asynchronous patterns, REST APIs, and GraphQL APIs.
- Integrate GenAI and LLM capabilities using Vertex AI, Gemini, OpenAI, Anthropic, LangChain, and LangGraph through P&G’s governed GenAI gateway.
- Build and operate GCP services including Cloud Run, Cloud Workflows, Cloud Build, Pub/Sub, Secret Manager, and Cloud Logging.
- Integrate BigQuery and Cloud Spanner for transactional and analytical workloads and support embedded Looker and LookML reporting.
- Maintain social-platform, influencer-marketplace, web-scraping, content-extraction, and internal P&G integrations.
- Develop Terraform modules for GCP projects and landing-zone resources and contribute to self-service provisioning and policy guardrails.
- Create automated unit, integration, and end-to-end tests and integrate quality and security tools into CI/CD pipelines.
- Identify performance, reliability, and cost improvements while collaborating with product managers, business analysts, architects, and QA.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Experience in full-stack software engineering, web application development, or a related field.
- Proficiency with modern web architectures and microservice design patterns.
- Hands-on experience with TypeScript, React 18+, Next.js App Router, Python 3.11+, FastAPI, Pydantic, SQLAlchemy, and asynchronous programming.
- Working knowledge of GCP services, Terraform, Docker, containerized development, TypeScript, Python, and SQL.
- Experience or strong interest in integrating GenAI and LLM services into production applications.
- Experience writing automated tests with pytest, Jest, and Playwright and integrating SonarQube, Snyk, and gitleaks into CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with REST, GraphQL, OpenAPI/Swagger, and conventional commits.
- Awareness of OWASP Top 10 and secure coding practices including input validation, parameterized queries, HTTPS-only communication, and avoiding hardcoded secrets.
- Preferred qualifications include embedded analytics with Looker or LookML and experience with Redux Toolkit and enterprise data grids.
