Base Salary
$125k - $155k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and build orchestration, prompting, and workflow layers for production AI features.
- Create reusable tools and integrations, including retrieval systems and MCP servers and clients.
- Build evaluators, dashboards, and alerts for accuracy, latency, cost, and hallucination tracking.
- Harden the platform for production scale through caching, reliability improvements, incident response, and model rollbacks.
- Set technical direction through architecture decisions and design reviews while mentoring engineers.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of software or ML engineering experience, including at least 1 year building LLM systems in production.
- Expert Python skills and hands-on experience with LLM APIs and cloud platforms including AWS, Snowflake, and Vertex.
- Deep experience orchestrating multistep LLM workflows as execution graphs, such as with LangChain or LangGraph.
- Experience building agent harnesses involving memory compression, skill disclosure, and tool design.
- Strong prompt engineering skills, including prompt tuning, versioning, and evaluation of prompts and model configurations.
- Proven experience in AI evaluation, observability, and retrieval over enterprise data.
- Ability to explain complex AI concepts and tradeoffs clearly to nontechnical stakeholders.
- Fluency with agentic coding tools such as Claude Code and their architecture patterns is a strong plus.
