Responsibilities
- Build and maintain automated test scripts primarily using Python, with Bash and PowerShell.
- Develop and execute unit, integration, end-to-end, performance, interoperability, and parameterized tests.
- Run automated tests in Docker containers and virtual machines.
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and GitHub Workflows.
- Debug and fix CI/CD pipeline issues.
- Collaborate with developers to identify test scenarios from feature specifications.
- Document and create test cases in TestRail.
- Perform Windows and macOS event monitoring and use static code analysis and code coverage tools.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of software engineering experience.
- Automation experience using Python.
- Experience with test frameworks such as Google Test, NUnit, and Python Behave.
- Understanding of software testing methodologies, test suites, test cases, mocks, stubs, and parameterized testing.
- Experience running automated tests in Docker containers and virtual machines.
- Experience incorporating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and debugging pipeline issues.
- Experience with Git, GitHub Actions, Bazel, Bash, PowerShell, YAML, Docker, and Vi.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as VMware vCloud, AWS, or Azure.
- C++ automation experience is a plus.
