Responsibilities
- Design, script, test, implement, maintain, and modify robotic process and desktop automations.
- Create comprehensive test plans and test cases and coordinate automation test data across systems.
- Execute performance tests to verify expected automation performance levels.
- Investigate, analyze, and resolve technical problems with clients and technical staff, sometimes leading these efforts.
- Document automation capabilities and operating procedures.
- Estimate timelines, project tasks, costs, and effort for automation work.
- Analyze organizational needs, participate in automation feasibility assessments, and help determine appropriate solution approaches.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Generally a minimum of eight years of experience.
- Thorough knowledge of data and process modeling, system and application testing, software development life cycle, application design and architecture, programming, implementation, change controls, and robotics suites.
- Understanding of information and release management and product and vendor evaluation.
- Knowledge of Java, VBA, or other configuration or scripting technologies.
- Strong problem-solving, project management, teamwork, analytical, technical, and application development or programming skills.
- Ability to build relationships, influence others, overcome resistance, and produce results.
- Effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
