Responsibilities
- Develop, execute, maintain, and improve Selenium- and Java-based automation scripts for Retail Assets applications.
- Triage, investigate, prioritize, and resolve production incidents, automation failures, and critical defects.
- Perform root-cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions to reduce recurring defects.
- Own and expand test automation coverage, including regression, integration, system, end-to-end, and release validation testing.
- Coordinate with development teams on defect fixes, patches, upgrades, configuration changes, deployments, and release validation.
- Track defects, incidents, risks, dependencies, resolutions, and outstanding actions through appropriate tools.
- Review automation results, production trends, incident patterns, and defect data to identify quality and stability improvements.
- Maintain test evidence, incident records, root-cause reports, technical documentation, and operational procedures.
- Support production continuity and application stabilization across multiple entities, environments, and business units.
- Collaborate with business, testing, development, operations, and support stakeholders in Agile meetings, incident reviews, and release discussions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field; equivalent professional experience may be considered.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in test automation, software testing, production support, application support, or related technology roles.
- Hands-on experience developing and maintaining automated tests using Selenium and Java.
- Experience with API testing and validation, defect tracking, regression testing, release validation, and production incident resolution.
- Experience with root-cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions, application stabilization, and defect prioritization.
- Understanding of relational databases, application data structures, data validation, data reconciliation, and test data management.
- Experience coordinating with development, testing, business, and operations teams on fixes, patches, upgrades, and deployments.
- Knowledge of software testing and development lifecycles, version control, code reviews, build processes, and release validation.
- Preferred experience with SQL, shell scripting, API automation frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, cloud-based test environments, test reporting, performance testing, monitoring, and logging.
- Banking-domain experience is required or strongly preferred; Retail Assets, retail lending, loan servicing, loan origination, or related lending experience is preferred.
- Preferred certifications in software testing, test automation, Agile, Java, or related technologies.
- Understanding of secure test data handling, banking data protection, authentication, authorization, access controls, encryption, auditability, and controlled production support.
