Responsibilities
- Create end-to-end test strategies and plans for cloud-based networking applications and services.
- Plan, develop, execute, and automate functional, integration, performance, scale, load, API, GUI, and security test suites.
- Test cloud applications, wired and wireless enterprise networks, networking protocols, customer deployments, and customer-reported issues.
- Develop and review API and UI automation code and identify gaps in test coverage.
- Perform performance testing and monitoring and collaborate with Product Owners, Development, CloudOps, and other teams.
- Use programming, debugging, databases, monitoring tools, and network testing tools to validate product quality.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- 3 to 12 years of experience in the Network Management or Orchestration domain.
- Experience testing cloud-based applications and working with AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
- Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, clustering, virtualization, and hypervisors.
- Hands-on programming experience with Java, Python, Robot, Perl, Go, or TCL/TK.
- Experience with API testing, API contract testing, mocks, API automation, and UI automation using Selenium, Robot Framework, or Python.
- Experience with functional, integration, performance, scale, load, and security testing, including tools such as JMeter or Locust.
- Experience testing wired and wireless networking protocols and enterprise networks.
- Experience with Linux/Unix, Git, GitHub, SQL/NoSQL or in-memory databases, and monitoring tools such as Grafana and Prometheus.
- Strong debugging, analytical, communication, and automation code-review skills.
