Responsibilities
- Design, implement and evolve frontend features, user interfaces and gameplay experiences for reliable, scalable gaming products.
- Translate product and game design requirements into robust technical solutions and provide constructive technical feedback.
- Build clean, maintainable and well-tested software that minimizes defects and supports future product growth.
- Own technical decisions, contribute to planning and architecture discussions, and participate in retrospectives.
- Develop responsive, accessible and performant web applications using modern frontend technologies.
- Integrate frontend applications with REST APIs, real-time services and event-driven backend systems.
- Contribute to frontend performance optimization, cross-browser compatibility, debugging and automated testing.
- Support frontend engineering practices through mentoring, code reviews, testing discipline and technical guidance.
- Evaluate AI-generated code for correctness, security and maintainability and integrate AI tools into development workflows.
Requirements
- Strong professional software engineering experience focused on frontend development and production-grade user-facing applications.
- Strong experience with modern JavaScript or TypeScript and hands-on experience with React, Angular or Vue.
- Experience with WebGL-based rendering and animation frameworks, particularly PixiJS and GSAP.
- Understanding of component-based architecture, clean code, reusable UI patterns and frontend software design principles.
- Experience building and maintaining responsive, accessible and performant production web applications.
- Proficiency with HTML, CSS, browser APIs, state management and modern frontend build tools.
- Experience integrating applications with REST APIs, real-time services or event-driven backend systems.
- Familiarity with Git, code reviews, pull requests, CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Practical experience with automated unit, integration and end-to-end frontend testing.
- Understanding of frontend performance optimization, cross-browser compatibility and debugging techniques.
- Ability to work independently, own features from technical design through production, and communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Willingness to mentor less experienced engineers and work in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Nice-to-have experience in game development, casino games, virtual sports, betting products or real-time/high-availability entertainment systems.
- Nice-to-have experience with graphics, animation, canvas/WebGL, interactive gameplay interfaces, mobile-first development, responsive design systems and accessibility.
- Ability to make architectural decisions for scalable frontend applications and provide technical guidance and pragmatic decision-making.
- Practical experience using AI tools for software development and understanding of their best practices and limitations.
