Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and evolve scalable backend services and game logic for casino, virtual sports, live betting, and related gaming products.
- Translate product and game design requirements into robust technical solutions and provide constructive feedback.
- Build clean, maintainable, well-tested software and support efficient production operations.
- Own technical decisions, contribute to architecture discussions, planning, and retrospectives, and suggest improvements.
- Design and maintain domain logic, business rules, and game-related mechanics in scalable systems.
- Support testing, reliability, observability, performance, and long-term maintainability.
- Mentor less experienced engineers and provide technical guidance on code quality, reviews, testing, and engineering practices.
- Take ownership of features from technical design through production and communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements
- Strong professional software engineering experience focused on backend development and production-grade systems.
- Strong experience with Java and hands-on experience with Spring Boot, including REST APIs, configuration, and security fundamentals.
- Experience with object-oriented design, clean code, SOLID principles, and production backend services.
- Proficiency with SQL and NoSQL databases, including schema design, efficient queries, and indexing.
- Experience implementing domain logic, business rules, or game-related mechanics in scalable systems.
- Familiarity with Git, code reviews, pull requests, messaging and event-driven systems, and Docker.
- Experience writing unit, integration, and automated tests and working with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Ability to work independently, own technical decisions, solve problems, communicate clearly, and balance quality, speed, and maintainability.
- Willingness to mentor engineers and work in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Preferred experience includes game development, casino games, virtual sports, betting products, or real-time/high-availability entertainment systems.
- Preferred knowledge includes Kubernetes, Helm, AWS, Azure, or GCP, along with architectural decision-making for scalable systems.
- Preferred experience includes using AI tools in software development and critically evaluating AI-generated code for correctness, security, and maintainability.

- Minimum monthly salary follows the applicable Collective Bargaining Agreement, with overpayment considered based on qualifications and experience.
