Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain highly available, high-performance, safety-critical carrier-grade communication server software.
- Build software components based on microservice and stateless container architectures.
- Analyze and implement ETSI and 3GPP standards, system requirements, and customer- or domain-specific requirements.
- Collaborate hands-on with senior development teams, component owners, and international development teams throughout project phases.
Requirements
- Initial experience as a software developer, ideally with telco-grade or highly available systems.
- Completed technical education, such as HTL, in computer science, communications engineering, or telecommunications.
- Basic knowledge of telecommunications standards; MCx and FRMCS knowledge is advantageous.
- Initial experience with object-oriented languages such as Go, C++, and Java, as well as CI/CD, DevOps, and code-testing tools.
- Experience with network infrastructure and hypervisors.
- Basic knowledge of SIP, MCx, TCP/UDP, IP, NTP, SNMP, RTP/RTCP, RTSP, HTTP, GRE, Diameter, and STUN/TURN.
- Basic experience with OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, AAA, firewalls, IPSec, OVPN, KMS, CRA/NIS-2, FOSS, and SBOM concepts.
- Basic knowledge of encryption and initial experience with Linux-based programming.
- Willingness to work with new technologies such as agentic AI-assisted development.
- Solid German and English language skills.
