Base Salary
$97k - $306k/yr
Responsibilities
- Drive cross-group platform initiatives with measurable reliability and performance impact.
- Define interoperability guardrails, security controls, client library governance, and API lifecycle strategies.
- Design and write foundational software, lead architecture and code reviews, and resolve complex distributed-systems and API issues.
- Establish observability frameworks, SLOs, capacity models, rollout policies, and deprecation strategies adopted by multiple teams.
- Lead software architecture, scalability, performance optimization, testing, monitoring, maintenance, and vulnerability remediation initiatives.
- Provide technical guidance, coaching, mentorship, customer issue support, and escalation leadership across teams.
- Influence stakeholders and leaders on strategic objectives, technical standards, customer solutions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Contribute to talent development through candidate interviews, assessments, hiring decisions, and professional mentoring.
Requirements
- Principal-level expertise in platform software development, distributed systems, software architecture, reliability, performance, and scalability.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-group technical initiatives and define architectural standards, interoperability strategies, and governance practices.
- Expertise in observability, monitoring, testing, debugging, API functionality and integration, software maintenance, and service availability.
- Strong knowledge of secure software development practices, security controls, coding standards, and vulnerability remediation.
- Ability to provide technical leadership, influence cross-functional and external stakeholders, coach engineers, and resolve ambiguous high-complexity problems.
- Experience advising customers on complex product issues and translating feedback into durable product enhancements.
- Ability to contribute to thought leadership, technology research, industry practices, metrics, and continuous improvement.
