Base Salary
$78k - $176k/yr
Responsibilities
- Manage, configure, patch, and monitor Windows, Linux, and Unix environments.
- Troubleshoot advanced hardware, operating system, and network issues.
- Implement secure architectures, access controls, privilege management, and authentication mechanisms.
- Detect and respond to incidents through log analysis, forensic investigations, and vulnerability management.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, configuration management, infrastructure-as-code, containers, and cloud infrastructure.
- Develop automation and custom tooling with Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Support clients modernizing IT infrastructure and develop, deploy, or manage cloud-based server and network components.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Experience managing Windows, Linux, or Unix environments and troubleshooting hardware, operating system, and network issues.
- Experience with secure architectures, Active Directory, LDAP, access controls, privilege management, and authentication.
- Experience with incident detection and response, log analysis, forensic investigations, or vulnerability management.
- Experience with Jenkins or GitHub Actions, Ansible, Terraform or CloudFormation, Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience scripting with Python, Bash, or PowerShell; Boto3 experience is a preferred qualification.
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
- Preferred qualifications include enterprise cloud-native development, automated testing frameworks, continuous automation, public cloud issue resolution, networking fundamentals, NIST, CMMC, security or cyber engineering certification, and AWS, Azure, or GCP certification.
