Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Enhance and maintain in-house synthetic test-data generation tools.
- Support quality and development teams with test-data generation requirements.
- Develop and execute performance test scenarios and frameworks.
- Perform load, stress, spike, endurance, volume, and scalability testing.
- Troubleshoot application, infrastructure, and database performance bottlenecks.
- Integrate performance testing into CI/CD pipelines and observability processes.
- Analyze logs, metrics, traces, dashboards, and alerts for root-cause analysis.
- Create performance reports and provide application optimization recommendations.
- Collaborate with Development, QA, DevOps, and SRE teams to resolve performance issues.
- Integrate AI/ML techniques and AI-centric approaches into performance testing.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3–8 years of experience in software development and performance testing or performance engineering.
- Previous experience with Python for backend application development and basic JavaScript for frontend web development.
- Experience with SQL, database design principles, SQL query optimization, and database performance analysis.
- Hands-on experience with at least one performance-testing tool such as JMeter, LoadRunner, Gatling, k6, Locust, NeoLoad, or BlazeMeter.
- Experience with at least one application monitoring tool such as Datadog, AppDynamics, Dynatrace, New Relic, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, AWS CloudWatch, or Google Cloud Monitoring.
- Experience using AI tools such as Claude and Copilot to produce quality solutions.
- Preferred knowledge of Java, PostgreSQL, Ruby/Rails, AWS, GCP, Git repositories, GitLab Pipelines, APIs, microservices, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
