Responsibilities
- Perform subsystem definition, preliminary and detailed design, design implementation, subsystem and system integration, and testing.
- Participate in software requirements, preliminary and critical design, integration readiness, and software acceptance reviews.
- Research technical problems and develop solutions.
- Collaborate with a team using an agile development methodology.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Physics, or a related field, or equivalent related work experience.
- 0–2 years of experience in real-time mission-critical development, maintenance, or support and related areas including system integration, problem analysis, safety analysis, information assurance, and real-time system data analysis.
- Experience with object-oriented design and development, design patterns, software insulation techniques, and plugins.
- Experience developing software with Java, C++, or Python.
- Experience with Windows, Solaris, Linux, Solaris or other Unix scripting, and integrated development environments such as Eclipse.
- Familiarity with UML syntax, driver-based test environments, and automated test environments.
- U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain the required government security clearance or other required authorization.
- Experience with ClearCase, JIRA, xUnit, JUnit, CPPUnitLite, CMMI Level 5 life-cycle processes, procedures, or assemblers is a plus.
