Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated infrastructure and operations solutions.
- Create and modify scripts using Python, PowerShell, Ansible, or bash.
- Apply infrastructure-as-code principles to system configuration and deployment.
- Maintain Grafana and Zabbix monitoring and alerting platforms, including dashboards, alerts, triggers, templates, and monitoring checks.
- Integrate systems using APIs and formats including REST, JSON, and YAML.
- Support VMware and Hyper-V virtualization platforms and troubleshoot complex production system and performance issues.
- Maintain Git source control and contribute to CI/CD pipelines where applicable.
- Document systems, processes, and automation workflows while collaborating on infrastructure projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong Linux administration experience and hands-on experience supporting production infrastructure environments.
- Hands-on experience with Grafana, Zabbix, or similar monitoring tools and understanding of CPU, memory, disk, network, services, logs, and application availability metrics.
- Hands-on automation and scripting experience with PowerShell, Python, bash, or one of these tools.
- Familiarity with APIs, REST, JSON, YAML, system integration concepts, and Git or other source control tools.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills, with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Preferred qualifications include AWX or Ansible, Docker or Kubernetes, GitLab CI, VictoriaMetrics, Telegraf, ELK, AWS or Azure, and VMware, Hyper-V, or OLVM experience.
