Responsibilities
- Build, maintain, and operate production machine learning models and optimization algorithms.
- Develop solutions for demand forecasting, shift planning, capacity planning, and staffing optimization.
- Create reliable, scalable deployment foundations for workforce management algorithms and ML models following MLOps guidelines.
- Make data science solutions robust, monitored, and production-ready.
- Automate data science stack tooling and improve MLOps processes, model deployment, and data pipelines.
- Collaborate with Workforce Management teams and other departments to turn operational challenges into data-driven solutions.
- Monitor and log ML models and supporting infrastructure to detect and resolve issues proactively.
Requirements
- Deep experience building and operating machine learning models and optimization algorithms in production.
- Strong proficiency in Python and cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS.
- Strong knowledge of data modeling, database systems, and ETL processes.
- Deep expertise with monitoring and logging tools for ML models and supporting infrastructure.
- Familiarity with workforce management concepts such as forecasting, capacity planning, or scheduling is a strong plus.
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools in a reviewable, reliable, and useful manner.
- Strong English communication and collaboration skills.
