Principal/ Senior Backend Engineer (KSPM)
Palo Alto NetworksResponsibilities
- Develop and scale backend features and core components for the Kubernetes Security Posture Management solution across the full software development lifecycle.
- Independently drive high-impact KSPM features while collaborating closely with engineers and Cortex Cloud partners.
- Work with customers to provide solutions for their day-to-day security challenges.
- Participate in code reviews, design reviews, and technical and architectural decisions.
Requirements
- 5+/8+ years of software engineering experience.
- Experience developing and maintaining cloud-native distributed software applications.
- Ability to independently drive features in close collaboration with other engineers.
- Advantage: experience designing, building, and maintaining high-scale server-side applications.
- Advantage: experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, and managed Kubernetes services including EKS, GKE, and AKS.
- Advantage: experience with Kubernetes or container technologies.
- Advantage: knowledge of cybersecurity, particularly cloud security.
- B.Sc. in computer science, equivalent knowledge, or equivalent military experience.
