Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs.
- Build cloud-native SaaS solutions for enterprise-scale workloads.
- Architect and implement reliable, performant, and secure distributed systems.
- Develop and operate microservices running on Kubernetes.
- Collaborate with product managers, architects, AI engineers, and SRE teams on end-to-end solutions.
- Design and optimize data models, storage layers, and database performance.
- Integrate AI services and agentic workflows into core platform capabilities.
- Participate in technical design reviews, code reviews, and engineering best practices.
- Drive operational excellence through monitoring, observability, automation, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Stay current with cloud computing, distributed systems, and AI technologies.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of software development experience focused on backend systems.
- Strong proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript.
- Hands-on experience building and operating cloud-based SaaS platforms.
- Experience designing distributed systems and microservice architectures.
- Deep knowledge of AWS services and cloud-native application development.
- Experience with Kubernetes and containerized workloads.
- Strong experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server.
- Experience with RESTful APIs and event-driven architectures.
- Proficiency with GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, and modern software development practices.
- Experience with AI-powered applications or integrating AI services into production systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to drive complex technical initiatives.
- Preferred: experience with Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud Platform.
- Preferred: experience deploying and operating AI/ML workloads in production.
- Preferred: experience with agentic systems, AI orchestration frameworks, RAG architectures, or LLM-based applications.
- Preferred: knowledge of observability and monitoring tools, infrastructure-as-code, automation, security, compliance, and enterprise-scale software requirements.
