Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership on high-impact infrastructure projects.
- Own project planning and execution across user-facing features and architecture tasks.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, technical leaders, engineering managers, software engineers, product management, program management, and SRE teams.
- Mentor team members, support career development, identify roadblocks, prioritize efforts, and reduce ambiguity.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Eight years of experience building and developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems, networks, compute technologies, storage, or hardware architecture.
- Five years of experience coding in one or more programming languages.
- Preferred: master's degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- Preferred: three years of technical leadership experience leading project teams and setting technical direction.
- Preferred: people management experience in a technical environment.
- Knowledge of the storage domain and strong technical leadership, project management, troubleshooting, communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
