Responsibilities

  • Design and develop scalable, high-performance, low-latency backend services using Java and AWS.
  • Collaborate with product management, frontend, and QA teams to define requirements and integrate platform components.
  • Optimize existing services for performance, reliability, and maintainability.
  • Identify and resolve system bottlenecks and improve resource utilization and stability.
  • Implement code quality, testing, deployment, and CI/CD practices.
  • Monitor backend service health and performance and mitigate potential issues.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of backend software development experience focused on Java and AWS technologies.
  • Strong experience building and operating low-latency, high-scale services in distributed environments.
  • Proficiency in Java and its ecosystem and related frameworks.
  • Knowledge of microservices architecture, Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, and ClickHouse.
  • Familiarity with RESTful API design and security best practices.
  • Experience with Jenkins, Git, Maven, and Gradle for CI/CD.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, independent-work, and collaboration skills.
