Base Salary
$93k - $210k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own and evolve a platform service component or SDK area for multi-tenant use.
- Debug distributed services and drive compatibility-safe remediation plans.
- Develop software features, APIs, integration strategies, testing, performance optimizations, and scalability improvements.
- Implement resilience, capacity, monitoring, observability, maintenance, patching, and availability improvements.
- Lead code reviews and curate documentation, samples, adoption guidance, and software design materials.
- Investigate customer-reported issues, provide technical guidance, and recommend product enhancements.
- Apply secure coding practices, quality standards, and software development lifecycle processes.
- Coach and mentor colleagues while independently planning work and adapting to changing timelines and priorities.
Requirements
- Experience designing and developing software, systems, and services within established architecture.
- Working knowledge of software architecture decisions, development standards, testing, debugging, API functionality, and integration.
- Ability to implement API versioning, lifecycle, interoperability, performance, scalability, resilience, and capacity strategies.
- Ability to troubleshoot moderately complex software and product maintenance issues across distributed services.
- Ability to perform performance profiling, optimization, monitoring, observability, and system maintenance.
- Ability to collaborate across teams and with customers, provide technical guidance, and mentor others.
- Ability to apply secure coding practices and follow quality, compliance, and software development processes.
