Base Salary
$79k - $210k/yr
Responsibilities
- Partner with customer engineering and OCI engineering leadership to ensure customer success.
- Lead initiatives across engineering, operations, and leadership with minimal supervision.
- Design infrastructure components including cloud resources, distributed computing systems, and data storage solutions.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure performance, scalability, and reliability issues and implement mitigation solutions.
- Identify, document, and resolve customer-impacting technical issues.
- Document infrastructure designs, configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
Requirements
- 4–8+ years of distributed cloud engineering experience in a software development environment.
- Development experience in Java, C++, C#, and scripting languages.
- Experience with Ansible, Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, containerization, and distributed-system orchestration.
- Strong Linux skills, including administration, package management, shell scripting, and performance optimization across Oracle Linux, RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu, and Debian.
- Experience collaborating with cloud platform teams across compute, networking, storage, and identity.
- Understanding of networking concepts, security principles, and infrastructure best practices.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex issues, lead large-scale projects end-to-end, and drive resolutions.
- Strong written, verbal, presentation, and infrastructure documentation skills.
