Base Salary
$93k - $210k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own and evolve a bounded platform component or SDK area for multi-tenant use.
- Perform deep debugging across service graphs and drive compatibility-safe remediation plans.
- Implement resilience, capacity, scalability, observability, testing, and performance optimization patterns.
- Design, develop, debug, test, document, and maintain software, services, and APIs.
- Implement API versioning, lifecycle, and interoperability strategies.
- Lead code reviews and contribute to software architecture and development standards.
- Investigate customer issues and product defects, provide technical guidance, and recommend product enhancements.
- Perform system maintenance, upgrades, patching, automation, and reliability improvements.
- Lead design and discovery discussions, review roadmaps with stakeholders, prototype solutions, and manage deliverables independently.
- Coach and mentor colleagues while collaborating across teams and with product owners.
Requirements
- Senior-level software engineering experience demonstrated through independent ownership of platform components and high-impact projects.
- Ability to design and develop software, services, APIs, and system components aligned with established architecture.
- Experience with debugging, testing, performance profiling, scalability, observability, secure coding, and software maintenance practices.
- Ability to understand business and customer needs, collaborate with product owners and stakeholders, and balance technical implementation with business goals.
- Ability to troubleshoot moderately complex software and API issues and investigate complex product maintenance problems.
- Ability to lead design discussions and code reviews, communicate solutions, and mentor or guide others.
