Responsibilities
- Design and develop major distributed-system components for Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
- Build scalable and customizable cloud networking services with predictable performance, isolation, and availability.
- Launch software features into production and operate high-scale services.
- Improve service resilience and securely protect customer cloud environments.
- Design workflow-based distributed systems and make effective architecture and execution tradeoffs.
- Build services that support additional customer options and Oracle Cloud growth.
Requirements
- Experience with distributed systems.
- Experience designing and developing software features and launching them into production.
- Experience operating high-scale services and improving their resilience.
- Experience with services involving long-distance data transfer subject to compliance and regulatory requirements.
- Strong coding ability and broad distributed-systems knowledge, including low-level systems.
- Ability to design interactions across broad distributed systems and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
