Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable automation frameworks for API, integration, contract, regression, and architectural testing.
- Develop and execute API testing strategies covering functionality, integrations, data integrity, reliability, and system contracts.
- Build automated quality gates and testing validation into CI/CD pipelines.
- Validate API and data contracts, backward compatibility, schema evolution, and architectural invariants.
- Apply property-based testing and mutation testing to identify coverage gaps and improve test effectiveness.
- Design and execute performance and scalability testing to identify bottlenecks and reliability issues.
- Analyze automation failures, troubleshoot root causes, and improve the reliability and maintainability of the testing ecosystem.
- Collaborate with software engineers, architects, DevOps, and data engineering teams.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in software engineering, QA automation, data engineering, or software quality engineering.
- Strong hands-on experience designing test architectures and automation frameworks for complex or distributed systems.
- Expert-level API testing experience and strong experience with API development and integration.
- Experience integrating automated testing and validation into CI/CD pipelines and implementing automated quality gates.
- Hands-on experience with property-based testing and mutation testing.
- Experience validating API and data contracts, backward compatibility, schema evolution, and architectural invariants.
- Practical experience with performance testing, scalability validation, and identifying application or system bottlenecks.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills.
